The battery cable's connections are available at the 2-pin power connector.
It provides the following connection.
  • +6 - 15 Volt Power & Ground..
2 pin male(At the ooPIC)
2 pin female(At the cable)

The connector is a 2-pin, .100 inch spacing, polarized, locking connector manufactured by AMP,  Part# 640456-2.  
A suitable polarized, locking header is manufactured by Waldom, Part#22-01-3027
Digikey carries both of these parts.
The following table shows the pin assignments for the 2-pin power connector.
